Welcome to the Northern Futures
Work & Learning Centre
Whether you’re looking for job‑seeking support, exploring career opportunities or interested in education and training, we’re here to help with any questions you may have.Your future starts here
Our Work and Learning Centre is a Brotherhood of St.Laurence initiative, funded by the Victorian Government. It is designed to help improve access to jobs, education and long term opportunities for Victorians.
We also offer free education programs to help you upskill, change careers, or explore new possibilities. Our program works – about 80 per cent of our graduates go on to find employment, laying the foundation for lasting careers.
Here’s how we can help:
We can provide:
- career advice and goal setting
- help with resumes, job applications, and interviews
- job referrals and employer connections
- training and education pathways, tailored to your goals
- ongoing support after you start work or study and we can work alongside your employment provider
We’ll work with you to develop a personalised plan that supports your goals and helps you overcome any barriers.
