Writer, Creator and Artist – Kristi Watts

Kristi Watts is a proud WaddaWurrung and Gunditjmara woman, born and raised on Wadawurrung Country. She is a loving mother of four children. Kristi has always lived on the land of her ancestors and has a deep love and respect for her culture.

Kristi is an educator who loves to teach children about her Aboriginal heritage. She shares stories, language, and traditions with the next generation to help keep her culture alive. Kristi believes that learning about her culture is important for everyone, and she enjoys showing others the beauty of her people’s history, land, and customs. Through her work, Kristi helps children connect with their own culture and learn the importance of family, respect, and looking after the land.
