Welcome to the Yirrama Kindergarten!
Yirrama Kindergarten is a new, state-of-the art service opening in January 2027.
Located on the corner of Amber Ave and Precinct Rd, Charlemont, the kindergarten is part of the new Yirrama Community Hub, adjacent the Yirrama Primary School.
Offering free three and four-year-old programs starting in first term, the kindergarten will include four classrooms catering for up to 132 children.
Families can expect a high quality, play-based learning experience with a strong focus on inclusivity, kindness and wellbeing.
As part of a community hub, families will also have access to maternal and child health services, allied health, and multi-purpose community spaces. The hub draws on the Wadawurrung story of Parrwang, the magpie, to create a space that reflects a strong connection to culture, care, and community.
